At College Refocus, your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Name, contact information, academic records
Information collected via website forms, written forms, emails, or consultations.
Any notes taken during consultation will be independently stored with the client number.
How We Use Your Information:
To provide college consulting services
To communicate about services, meetings, and updates
To help with filling out documentation for the colleges
To process payments

We do not sell or share your personal information except:
As required by law
With your written consent (see Consent to Release Form)
Security:
Your data is stored securely using encrypted platforms and password-protected systems.

You may request access to your data.
You may ask for corrections or deletion of your information.
Client Service Agreement / Terms & Condition
1. Scope of Services
College Refocus provides educational consulting services, including but not limited to:
High School Course Support
Degree Selection Advice
College List specific to the Student’s needs and wishes
Application App (Common App) and prep Support
Essay Review and Critique
Website Building
College selection counseling and Financial Aid Advice
Scholarship search assistance
Consultant does not guarantee admission to any college, university, or program.
2. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Meet deadlines provided by the Consultant.
Actively participate in the consulting process.
Be responsible for submitting all applications, essays, and documentation to colleges or universities.
3. No Guarantee Clause
College Refocus does not guarantee admission to any institution or guarantee the awarding of scholarships or financial aid. All decisions are at the sole discretion of the respective colleges, universities, or organizations. I acknowledge that College Refocus provides educational consulting services designed to assist with the college admissions process.
4. Payment Terms
Fees are payable as outlined in the service agreement or invoice.
Payment is due up front through the Website via credit card or by check payable to “College Refocus” or Cash.
If payment is not supplied then services will not be rendered
If the payment defaults there will be a penalty fee of $70.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
The Client may cancel an appointment from the website.
Normal Cancellations need to be done 24 hours in advance through the website
Emergency Cancellations for a cancellation under 24 hours please call 864-977-1169 to inform College Refocus of the Cancellation.
Missed Appointment where the client cannot attend the meeting.
In the case of Emergency Cancellation or Missed Appointment then the client will be charged 100% or counted against the amount of appointments allotted for the package
If College Refocus has an emergency cancellation then College Refocus will email and call the client and the clients next appointment will be free of charge.
College Refocus reserves the right to terminate services if the Client fails to adhere to this Agreement. The fees will be prorated per services given and refunded, and services will be canceled.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, College Refocus, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of or related to:

Final admissions decisions are solely the responsibility of the educational institutions.

Missed deadlines due to Client delays
Technical issues with submission platforms
Changes in college policies or requirements
Limitation of Liability of property or software:
College Refocus is not liable for any lost property while visiting the office
College Refocus is not liable for any damage to the computer while preparing for a call or during a call
College Refocus is not liable for any computer technical issues resulting from shared documents on google drives.
7. Confidentiality
College Refocus agrees to keep Client information confidential and will not share personal information without written consent, except as required by law.
8. Authorization to Include Parent/Guardian in Discussions (For Clients Age 18 or Older)
Once a student reaches the age of 18, they are legally considered an adult, and their educational records and communications are protected by privacy laws. If the Client is 18 years of age or older, the Client must complete and sign a Consent to Release Information Form to authorize College Refocus to share information, updates, and progress with the Client’s parent(s) or guardian(s). Without this written consent, College Refocus cannot communicate with parents or guardians regarding the Client’s progress, plans, or any part of the consulting process. This authorization is voluntary and may be revoked at any time in writing by the Client.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials, templates, documents, and advice provided by College Refocus are the intellectual property of College Refocus, LLC and are for Client’s personal use only. They may not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written consent. This includes the individualized Payment amount per client.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina and the United States
11. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By Initialing below, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The Client agrees that they are entering into this Agreement voluntarily.
